To develop new tuning kits, the data capture of the series engine is important. We are using special equipment for the measurement.

Data capture for the engine calculation

Measuring of the camshaft profile
Ascertainment of the suction-, manifoldlength and diameter
Measuring of the cylinder head
Weighing the weight of the moved mass
Make a volumetric measurement of the compression
Measuring of the squeezing edge
Measuring of the piston weight
Assessment of the crankshaft concerning durability
and much more

Super Flow 600
On the `` Super Flow 600 `` the flux and the flow rate was measured. After that the Flow Bench is passing the data to a computer. The charge changing process for different speeds is calculated from the suction lengths and the suction cross sections of the valve lifting graph in connection with many further engine data. Flow Bench test.

Therefore engine performance increases are no longer a matter of chance and can be calculated in advance.

Cause of the flow loss Share of the total loss
1. Wall friction 4 %
2. Constriction in the area of the pushrods 2 %
3. Bend at the valve guide 11 %
4. Channel expansion behind the valve guide 4 %
5. Expansion less than 25° 12 %
6. Expansion less than 30° 19 %
7. Bend at the valve seat 17 %
8. Expansion because of entering in the combustion chamber 31 %
  100 %

* Valid for sand cast surface. Polished surfaces 3 %.

After calculation of the individual components the data is taken into our engine software and the optimal components are arranged. After that the fine tuning is carried out on the test bench.

Final check - fine tuning
The engine is perfectly coordinated by test bench runs with the most modern software. This is the only way to obtain the top results which will obtain you in front of the racing course.
